It is the perfect sized shelf for our tiny living room, and it really makes the items "pop". It is beautifully built with a charming rustic quality, that feels like it was made specifically for our little cottage. I thought the price was amazing, too. And to think it was made in the UK and shipped all the way to the West Coast of the US. It arrived very quickly, too. A magical, elegant way to display. I bought 2 other pieces, including the celestial arch cabinet. You can see it's just slightly larger, but they go together beautifully. It's so dark, I had to confirm it isn't black. I'm sure the difference would be obvious if I could see them side by side. The only thing is I'm going to mount this differently. It hangs by a single screw, so it could be accidentally bumped.
